Tomorrow is the Beginning of the Western New Year and this year the Chinese New Year commences January 23rd 2012 so that makes this a special month to begin things that are very important.
In 2012 it will be the year of the Water Dragon and this means a lot of changes ahead. The winning qualities for anyone to have in the Year of the Water Dragon will be Compassion, Peacefulness and a Determination within yourself to make things happen. In 2012 the mantra is: “Do it now (as soon as you can) and do it the best you can!” Don’t wait for anything to happen. Take the power yourself and commence!
Here are some tips that can prepare you from now until the start of the Chinese New Year.
1. Every New Year is a chance to have a new start and the experts say it takes 21 days to create a new habit (of success or failure). So whatever you are truly wishing for – examine exactly what it is, how you need to get it and what’s stopping you (either internally inside you or externally – to do with the world). Write down your wish on a single piece of paper (with nothing else on it) and wrap it in red paper. In the first week of January you need to bury it in the ground somewhere (preferably under a jade tree and in an areas that has nice energy in the ground). Then pay special attention to what you need to do on your side and pin point one small effort you need to make even if its just getting up ½ hour earlier each day to make this happen. Review your wish each week and say to yourself “I am so happy I am attaining this…” By speaking to yourself this way, you will find out if YOU are on track to receive your wish.
2. Over the next month leading up to January 23 – do go through your house, your wardrobe, your home office, etc and clear out your clutter. This will really help you a lot – so don’t miss it. Make sure you do a spring clean of your home as well – even if you need to hire cleaners to come and help you.
3. On New Year’s Day it is particularly important to share this with close friends or people you love. If, for some reason you cannot be around the ones you love, spread a blessing of love and peace into the gathering you are in. To do this at the beginning of the New Year means you will inject special energy into your projects right throughout the year and this will ignite YOU with the power to manifest special things.
4. Finally, settle any dispute you have with anyone else, a situation or a circumstance – even if you cannot settle it with them/the thing or the situation personally. If you bring good energy into even a bad situation – you are the one who will have true strength.
